One achievement I'm particularly proud of was leading and contributing to the modernisation of business-critical systems in my most recent role, including cloud migration to Azure, enterprise system integration, API development, and AI-powered automation solutions.
I helped deliver an AI-driven RFQ solution that transformed raw customer requests into structured quoting information, reducing manual effort and improving the efficiency of the sales process. I also contributed to major Dynamics 365 integration and migration initiatives across multiple countries, working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
I'm proud of this work because it combined software engineering, problem-solving, technical leadership and business understanding to deliver practical improvements rather than technology for its own sake.
I bring 8+ years of experience across software development, full-stack engineering, technical leadership, cloud solutions and enterprise system integration.
Most recently I worked as a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Co-Lead at a Melbourne-based technology consultancy, contributing to and leading projects involving .NET, React, Azure, Dynamics 365, enterprise integrations and AI-powered business applications. Key work included an AI-driven RFQ automation solution, Dynamics 365 to 4JS/Genero migration, Azure application and website migrations, API development, CI/CD improvements and business process automation.
Previously I spent approximately six years at a financial technology company, progressing through Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer and Associate Technical Lead roles. I led engineering teams and contributed to large-scale financial technology platforms used by international financial institutions including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, Citi and ANB.
Earlier experience includes a Software Engineering internship at a global education technology company, contributing to the MathXL education platform used by millions of users.
My experience spans C#/.NET, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Azure, REST APIs, SQL databases, cloud platforms, system integration and AI/LLM-enabled applications. In addition to hands-on engineering, I have experience in technical leadership, mentoring, code reviews, solution design, stakeholder communication, project coordination and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
