We're an AI-powered platform making strata management in Australia actually make sense.

I’m looking for a CTO or founding engineer (Sydney-based preferred) to build the platform with me.
‍
I’ve built the early foundations:
– AI tool prototype
– Committee Waitlist, collecting interest from strata committees
– Full stack ready set up

Now it’s time to turn this into a product that scales -  real AI functions, predictive building insights, and tools that give owners’ corporations the clarity they’ve never had.

Looking for someone who’s:

About the job

As our Founding Engineer / CTO, you’ll turn the early MVP into a scalable platform shaping the future of Australia’s strata sector.
You’ll own technical direction, delivery, and product evolution - balancing vision with execution speed.

You will:

  • Define and lead BRXiQ’s technical roadmap
  • Architect for scale and reliability
  • Ship fast, ship safely
  • Shape the product experience
  • Lead technical excellence
  • Own AI integration strategy
  • Partner with the founder on the vision and strategy of the product

Requirements

You’ll be a strong fit if you:

  • Are a hands-on builder who can take an idea from concept to live product - shipping clean, working code fast.
  • Have experience deploying and optimising cloud infrastructure + compliant systems
  • Are an expert in backend/infrastructure focus (Python, cloud infra, compliance), with comfort in full-stack (React).
  • Have worked on projects with stringent safety, security and/or compliance requirements
  • Can design and implement scalable, maintainable architecture while staying pragmatic about MVP trade-offs.
  • Understand API design, data flow, and integrations.
  • Are confident owning end-to-end delivery - from infrastructure setup to production rollout.
  • Can diagnose, debug, and improve a live system without breaking existing users or revenue flows.
  • Think in systems, not features - you can see how product, users, and code fit together.
  • Communicate well with non-technical founders - explain trade-offs clearly and make fast, informed decisions.
  • Thrive in early-stage chaos - minimal process, maximum ownership, focus on delivering real outcomes.

Bonus if you:

  • Have experience integrating AI (Claude, Bedrock, or OpenAI) into live products.
  • Have worked in SaaS, property tech, or data-heavy applications.
  • Can eventually grow and lead a small engineering team as we scale.
