We're an early-stage startup building the infrastructure for AI-native hiring, starting with a voice AI interviewer that can fairly and consistently screen candidates 24/7.

Our product lets recruiters upload a job description, automatically generate structured screening questions, and invite candidates to a voice interview. The AI agent runs the interview mirroring a natural conversation with a human recruiter, then returns a rubric-based score, evidence-backed summary, and full transcript so humans can make faster, more informed decisions. Every interview then compounds into a searchable talent intelligence layer, powering rediscovery - so the more recruiters use the platform, the stronger it gets.

The founder has deep expertise in tech recruitment and building voice AI agents, and we’re ready to bring on a technical co-founder as a true partner. You’ll be joining at the stage where early design partners are already interested in co-building and piloting the product with us.

About the job

As Technical Co-Founder, you'll take a working MVP and turn it into a robust, scalable product that recruiters can rely on every day.

You will:

  • Take the product from MVP → V1 → Phase 2 – take what's built, and keep shipping fast, meaningful improvements to the core experience
  • Lead rapid experimentation, A/B tests, and product iterations based on user feedback and data
  • Own the AI/voice layer from an engineering point of view, design how interviews are run, recorded, and evaluated in an explainable way
  • Evolve the architecture for scale, making sure the product is secure and reliable
  • Build and maintain integrations with ATS/HRIS, calendars, so we fit naturally into existing recruiter workflows
  • Contribute to product & GTM strategies

This role is for someone who wants real ownership: you'll be steering both the technical direction and the next phase of the product!

Requirements

You are:

  • Senior-level software engineer with experience shipping products end-to-end
  • Proven experience taking a product from MVP → something customers rely on (performance, reliability, monitoring, basic security)
  • Product-minded: you care about UX and user outcomes, not just "if the code works"
  • Happy to work in a scrappy, experimental 0→1 environment – fast iterations, small bets, learning from users
  • Prior startup or founding experience, or having been an early engineer in a small team
  • Clear communicator who's comfortable joining customer calls, sharing trade-offs, and making decisions together
  • Experience with LLMs, AI agents, or voice/telephony tooling (e.g. OpenAI, Vapi, Twilio, etc.)
  • Experience integrating with third-party tools / ATS / HR systems
  • Commercially minded – you think about who will use this, how we'll sell it, and how it grows, not just how it's built
  • Comfortable getting involved in go-to-market
