About the team

I’m a solo founder currently building this platform with the support of contractors, including completing our UX/UI prototype in Figma. I’m leading all other parts of the business, from customer research and validation through to marketing and partnerships.

I recently exited the early stages of my legal career to pursue this. Alongside law, my background is in lead generation and sales, and I’m deeply focused on building real human relationships, not just software.

I’m personally very active, which is where the idea for this platform originated. I experienced firsthand how movement-based communities create connection, accountability, and belonging, and I saw a clear gap in how fragmented and outdated the current tools were for both hosts and participants. This aligned with a clear rise in interest in the health and fitness market and a increased awareness of technology use, particularly among gen z and millennials.

This is a technical co-founder role. You'll own the technical execution of the platform and work closely with the founder to take the product from prototype to live MVP and beyond.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the technical roadmap from MVP to scale. Work with current team!
  • Architect, build, and iterate on a mobile-first marketplace product
  • Make pragmatic early-stage decisions around stack, infra, and build vs buy
  • Lead and manage execution using a mix of interns, contractors, and/or overseas developers
  • Review code, set standards, and ensure quality and scalability
  • Collaborate closely on product decisions, trade-offs, and experimentation

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Strong full-stack or mobile engineering background
  • Experience building early-stage products or marketplaces (or strong intuition for them)
  • Comfortable leading without heavy process and wearing multiple hats
  • Ability to manage junior devs, contractors, or offshore teams
  • Product-minded. You care about users, not just code

Bonus (Not Required)

  • Experience with React Native / Expo, Supabase, Stripe, or similar stacks
  • Prior startup or founder experience
  • Interest in fitness, wellness, or community-driven products
