I do my best work under real pressure, when speed and quality both matter and there's no room to choose one over the other. That's the environment I came from. Designing across 30+ client campaigns simultaneously on a platform with hundreds of millions of users taught me to make confident decisions fast and hold the standard while doing it.
I don't wait to be handed a brief. I help shape it. My engineering background means I work naturally with developers and understand constraints before they become problems. I also use AI tools actively in my workflow, which means I move faster without cutting corners.
Hire me when you need someone who can pick up an ambiguous problem, drive it forward without hand-holding, and deliver work that actually performs.
I'm looking for a product design or design strategy role where I can contribute beyond just execution. I want to be involved in shaping the problem before designing the solution, working closely with product and engineering teams in a fast-moving environment.
I'm most drawn to tech companies, fintech, and purpose-driven organisations where design has a real seat at the table. I'm also actively building my remote working practice and interested in roles that offer location flexibility.
I'm open to both full-time and contract opportunities and available immediately.
I am based in Sydney but flexible across Australia for the right opportunity. I am open to full-time and contract roles.
During my Master's in Design Strategy and Innovation, I led a real-client engagement with a consultancy navigating the transition away from coal in regional Australian communities. The work involved conducting interviews and co-design workshops across communities facing job losses, local councils managing economic decline, and industry partners with competing commercial interests. Everyone had a legitimate perspective and most of them conflicted. My job was to make sense of all of it and produce something the company could actually act on. What made it genuinely hard was that there was no clean answer. I had to resist the temptation to oversimplify and instead find the thread that connected all the different stakeholder needs into a strategic direction that held up under scrutiny. The final output was a service strategy and future-state roadmap that gave the company a clear path forward. I'm proud of this project because it required a kind of thinking I hadn't been tested on before. Not just designing an interface but navigating real human complexity and turning it into something actionable. That's the work I want to keep doing.
