Strengths

Turning ambiguous ideas into shipped products. I'm strongest as a hands-on CTO / technical co-founder type who can own architecture end-to-end (full-stack, cloud, mobile, IoT, embedded) and increasingly AI/LLM-powered systems — RAG, agentic workflows, multimodal models, vector databases and MLOps.

I bring 25+ years of leadership, having scaled teams from zero to 40+, and I'm good at the messy bits: technology strategy, hardware–software integration, startup scaling, risk assessment, and pragmatic AI adoption. Companies should hire me when they need someone who can both set the technical direction and roll up their sleeves to build alongside the team.

Other information
Based in Sydney, Australia, and open to on-site, hybrid or remote roles (also open to opportunities in the UAE and a few other locations as listed on my LinkedIn). My background spans SaaS, IoT/hardware, fintech and now AI/GenAI products, so I'm comfortable across early-stage startups, scale-ups and post-acquisition environments. Happy to engage as a full-time CTO/VP Engineering, fractional CTO, or technical advisor.

Work experience

Proudest professional achievement
Building and leading the team that delivered the world's first mass-produced ECE-certified smart motorcycle helmet — taking it from concept to production in three years, scaling a 10-person engineering team across hardware, firmware, mobile and cloud, and ultimately seeing the company acquired by major action camera manufacturer in 2024. It's the achievement I'm proudest of because it required integrating embedded systems, on-device ML/computer vision, mobile apps and cloud infrastructure into a single consumer product that actually shipped at scale — exactly the kind of complex, AI-enabled, hardware-meets-software problem I want to keep working on.

Chief Technology Officer with 25+ years in technology leadership, specialising in taking innovative concepts from idea to market-ready products across AI/GenAI, SaaS, IoT, hardware, and fintech.
