Proudest professional achievement
One of the professional achievements I am most proud of was leading the design and prototyping of a SMART process trap during my Industrial Design internship at Forbes Marshall. The project focused on improving energy efficiency in industrial steam systems by combining user-centred design, technical feasibility, and strategic thinking to create a solution that could support large-scale adoption.
This experience challenged me to work across engineering, research, and design, balancing technical constraints with user needs while communicating ideas to diverse stakeholders. It reinforced my passion for solving complex problems through design and showed me how thoughtful design can create meaningful impact beyond the product itself.
The project strengthened my interest in product, service, and strategic design, and continues to shape how I approach design challenges today.
I am a Product Designer currently pursuing a Master of Design (Strategic Design & Design Innovation) at the University of Sydney. Over the past two years, I have worked across product design, industrial design, strategic design, and graphic communication, gaining experience in both consultancy and industry environments.
Most recently, I have been working with a Sydney-based creative consultancy, contributing to book and website design, graphic recording, and visual communication to help translate complex ideas into engaging, accessible experiences. Previously, as a Junior Designer at a global creative agency, I designed and delivered large-scale installations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients to manage projects from concept through execution.
During my industrial design internship at an industrial engineering and manufacturing company, I led the design and prototyping of a SMART process trap to improve energy efficiency in industrial steam systems, combining user-centred design with technical feasibility. Earlier in my career, I worked at a contemporary art gallery, managing gallery operations, exhibition installations, logistics, and client relations.
Across these roles, I have developed strong skills in design research, systems thinking, service design, product design, prototyping, stakeholder collaboration, and visual communication. I enjoy translating complex challenges into thoughtful, human-centred solutions that create value for people, businesses, and society.
