Strengths
I do my best work in collaborative, fast-moving environments where ideas can be discussed openly. I enjoy bouncing ideas off people, giving and receiving honest feedback, and using that feedback as fuel for self-reflection and growth. I’m comfortable entering unfamiliar territory, taking on work outside a narrowly defined role and learning whatever the problem requires. I use AI heavily to accelerate development, but I also question its output and make sure I genuinely understand the systems I am building. I take responsibility for my decisions and for what reaches users. Companies should hire me to turn loosely defined ideas into practical products while communicating well across both technical and non-technical teams.
Interested in working involving
I’m looking for a role where I can keep building real products while learning from engineers who have already taken software through production and growth. I enjoy small startup teams because I like working across the product, speaking with the people using it, and seeing a feature go from an idea to something genuinely useful. Most of my work has involved practical tools that remove repetitive work or make complex processes easier, and that is the kind of problem I want to keep solving. I’m particularly interested in full-stack or backend roles at early-stage companies, especially in healthtech, AI-enabled products, or software that has a clear impact on people’s day-to-day lives. I’m comfortable taking ownership, but I’m not specifically looking to be the first or only engineer, I want a team where I can contribute quickly and still learn from stronger, more experienced developers.
Not interested in work involving

I’m not looking to be the first or only engineer at a company at this stage of my career. I’m comfortable with ownership and ambiguity, but I still want experienced engineers around me to learn from and collaborate with.

Other information
I’m an active builder outside of work as well. My main personal project, AutoKara, combines song search, lyric retrieval, audio separation, automatic lyric timing and a lyric-first music player to automate much of the karaoke creation process. I designed the experience to feel effortless: features are either self-explanatory, accessible within a few clicks or handled automatically in the background. I enjoy finding processes that are frustrating or time-consuming and building something that makes them substantially easier. Time is fleeting, and I want the software I build to give some of it back.

Proudest professional achievement
One achievement I’m especially proud of was presenting SafeDownUnder to more than 100 students at La Trobe University - the product’s primary audience. Building and shipping most of the platform was one challenge; standing in front of its users and earning their interest was another. I had never considered myself a natural salesperson because I would never want to convince someone to use something they did not need. However, I genuinely believed in SafeDownUnder’s mission, and because I am a developer, I understood the thinking behind nearly every detail of the product, so I could explain its value honestly and confidently. The presentation went well and showed me that pitching is less about “selling” and more about deeply understanding a problem, believing in the solution and communicating why it matters.
Full-stack software engineer with experience working in early-stage startups and small product teams. At an early-stage startup, I built customer-facing lead-generation tooling, an admin dashboard and an internal process-mapping platform capable of supporting more than 1,000 items.

I also helped ship a multilingual health information platform, along with an admin system that allows non-technical writers to manage its content. In another backend engineering role, I helped reduce infrastructure costs by 43%, cut deployment time by 68% and later supported a three-person backend team.

I currently contribute to an AI-powered boxing app, working on features involving conversational coaching, speech, health data and computer vision. Outside of work, I build products such as AutoKara which automates creating karaoke - including lyric retrieval, timing, romanisation and vocal separation, turning a multi-hour editing session into 5 minutes within 2 clicks.
