I'm good with delivery, making strong tradeoffs and I hav financial acumen as well. I'll shortly be starting my MBA and getting a cloud architecture certification as well as a directors certificate. I also just set up the governance to help our engineering team work with AI.

I'm looking for someone at that strategic point where they need to start scaling their product and figuring out their team. My last boss told me I'd be a gun founding engineer. I have leadership experience and have worked for startups and larger orgs in traditional ecommerce, finance, and government.

I had a critical part in helping a post-series An Airtree-backed scaleup finish a big replatform and increase their delivery velocity. We set up and configured claude code and rearchitected a large b2b application over 6 months to be AI-enabled.
I'm an experienced, delivery focused full-stack leader and engineer. I've worked in a number of verticals, including Finance, Retail, and Government and also dipped my toes into the startup world, participating in a startup accelerator program's Founders Fellowship in 2022.
Technically, I have experience across the stack and can build and implement features end to end.
From an interface perspective, I've architected and built systems with React, Next, Tailwind, and Storybook.
Further down the stack, I've architected systems with event-driven, microservice, and headless architectures that use REST, GraphQL, and RPC. I've used Apollo and am familiar with Federation, Subgraphs, and optimisation with DataLoader. I've built with with AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, and Vercel. I've worked with BigCommerce and Hybris ecommerce platforms and Contentful, Strapi, and Payload CMS Systems.
I value effective team building through setting strong technical direction, effective communication, and thoughtful organisation. I've helped improve delivery and improved team health, cycle time, and velocity through ways of working. I also have hands-on experience with governance and CAB processes.
